How Does Joe Know Roofs?
It all started over 30 years ago, in the summer of 1987. I was 15 years old at the time, full of energy and ambition, I started working for my dad. It was very hard work. The days were long and the sun was hot! My dad paid his roofers by the square foot, the harder you worked the more money you made, so we worked pretty hard. I started at the bottom of the ladder, packing all the shingles, cleaning out the gutters and cleaning the ground. Being eager to learn how to roof, I hustled getting my job done so I could lay a few shingles. Eventually I got better, then faster. Before long I was one of the best roofers my dad had working for him. Years later I subbed roofs from my dad and other companies. You see, I started at the bottom of the ladder and worked my way up!
